It is best to use brown, unpolished rice for all rice dishes. This rice is cooked longer than ordinary white rice, but it retains all the beneficial properties and vitamins. Two volumes of boiling water are taken per volume of cereal.
1. Put rice in boiling water and cover the pan with a lid. When the water begins to boil, reduce the heat and leave to cook over low heat for about 40 minutes.
2. Peel the carrots and grate.
3. Put the carrots in a pan, add olive or other oil, mix everything and put on fire.
4. Add spices to taste. We took ground black pepper and turmeric. Add cooked rice to the pan and mix everything. Fry rice with carrots a little.
Rice can be eaten with any salads, fresh vegetables and green peas.
